‘The Flash’ Set Footage Reveals First Look At Ezra Miller’s New Costume

Thanks to previously released concept art, fans have been treated to a sneak peek at Ezra Miller’s new costume in Andy Muschietti’s The Flash, but they have yet to see the star suit up in person. But now, thanks to leaked set footage, the first glimpse at Miller’s new suit has surfaced online.
Based on the footage, it appears the new costume will be a mix of practical effects and CGI. As can be seen in the video below, Miller is wearing The Flash’s cowl and boots, but beyond that, he is suited up in a CGI rig much like the one worn by Ray Fisher in Justice League.

It remains to be seen why CGI will be used to create so much of the costume. Perhaps this may only be necessary for the scene in question, but for now, fans will have to speculate.
The highly anticipated film is set to have Ezra Miller’s Flash meet Michael Keaton’s Batman in a story which will loosely adapt the Flashpoint storyline. It is believed the movie will be used to soft reboot the DCEU by keeping some elements of the franchise while rewriting others. One such change will be bringing Keaton’s Bruce Wayne to the main DC universe, where reports claim he will take on a mentor role.

The Flash zooms into theaters on Nov. 4, 2022.
