Steve Carell To Star In Amazon Studios’ ‘The Rabbit Factor’ Adaptation

One of the most recognizable names and faces in modern Hollywood is Steve Carell. Thanks to the booming popularity of The Office on various streaming services, Carell has essential been able to pick and choose his projects as he sees fit. As first reported by Deadline, Amazon Studios is looking to adapt the novel The Rabbit Factor into a starring vehicle for the actor.
Written by Finnish author Antti Tuomainen, The Rabbit Factor is a comic novel following the life of an insurance mathematician named Henri Koskinen. Thanks to his incredibly mathematic skills, Koskinen is able to come up with the answers to life’s many questions due to calculating absolutely everything down to the decimal. However, after he suddenly loses his job, he inherits an adventure park from his late brother. What follows throws his life into complete disarray.

Amazon Studios will produce and distribute the film in collaboration with Mandeville Films. Additionally, Todd Lieberman (The Fighter), David Hoberman (Beverly Hills Chihuahua), and the aforementioned Tuomainen will executive produce the picture.
Following his run as Michael Scott in NBC’s The Office, Carell has wowed audiences in a bevy of roles. In fact, Carell earned a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor thanks to his role in Foxcatcher. Moreover, the actor recently wrapped filming for season two of The Morning Show for Apple TV+. Up next, Carell leads the cast of season two of Netflix’s comedy series Space Force.
