Mirren’s costume in the images above looks very similar to Zegler’s, which had previously leaked. They have an ancient Greek aesthetic, further supporting the report that she is a daughter of Atlas. Additionally, the images also feature another look at Zachary Levi in his new Shazam costume.
The highly anticipated sequel is set to feature the return of Asher Angel as Billy Batson, and Zachary Levi as his adult alter ego Shazam. The young hero will have to face off against multiple villains, including Liu as Kalypso, Mirren as Hespera, and of course Zegler in an unconfirmed role.
David F. Sandberg is returning to direct the sequel with a screenplay penned by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan. Moreover, Geoff Johns will produce the feature alongside Peter Safran (Aquaman).
