‘She-Hulk’: Jameela Jamil Cast As Titania In Marvel Studios’ Series

Marvel Studios has finally found a star to face off with Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters in She-Hulk on Disney+. According to The Illuminerdi, The Good Place star Jameela Jamil has been cast as the classic villain Titania.
Created by Jim Shooter and Mike Zeck in 1984, Titania debuted in Secret Wars #3. While the villain has faced many heroes, she is often portrayed as a rival of Walters’ She-Hulk. When Mary MacPherran’s hometown was transported to Battleworld by the Beyonder, she found herself face to face with Doctor Doom. The villain then provided MacPherran her own metahuman powers in return for her serving in his army of supervillains. Later on, after returning to Earth, Titania would go on to become a villain for She-Hulk.

According to The Illuminerdi’s sources, the villain will be a “Kardashian-esque social media influencer with a dark side.” It is unknown how she will gain her abilities, given the MCU has not adapted the events of Secret Wars. Additionally, it remains to be seen if she will begin as a rival of Jennifer Walters or serve solely as an enemy of She-Hulk.
The Disney+ series boasts an impressive cast, including Maslany in the starring role alongside Marvel alums Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth, who will reprise their roles as Bruce Banner and Abomination. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga and Renée Elise Goldsberry in unknown roles.
