‘Ms. Marvel’ Photos Reveal First Look At The Heroine’s Official Costume

Fans finally have their first look at Iman Vellani’s official Ms. Marvel costume. New images from the set of Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel have revealed the first look at the heroines uniform.

Previously fans got a glimpse at the star in what seemed to be a prototype suit based closely on Captain Marvel’s look. But this new official costume looks like it has been taken straight from the comics.

Created by G. Willow Wilson, Sana Amanat, Stephen Wacker, Adrian Alphona, and Jamie McKelvie, the character debuted in 2013’s Captain Marvel #14. Khan, a Pakistani American from New Jersey, comes across powers that allow her to have the ability to stretch her body and change her shape. She is also the first Muslim superhero to star in her own titular comic book series. In the comics, Khan is an Inhuman, a race of altered humans experimented on by the Kree.

Hailing from head writer Bisha K. Ali the series will introduce Kamala Khan to the MCU. Ms. Marvel is one of many series Marvel Studios is developing for Disney+ to introduce new characters into the MCU, with the other shows being She-Hulk and Moon Knight. Following their Disney+ debuts, the characters will reportedly move into films and appear alongside other heroes.
