‘What If…?’ Promotional Material Teases The Guardians Of The Multiverse

Marvel Studios’ What If…? has promised to introduce fans to reimagined versions of the MCU’s iconic characters and stories, and now new merchandise has teased some of those new scenarios. A recently leaked poster for the series has revealed a new look at characters in the story with the tagline of “Guardians of the Multiverse”.

The poster includes a number of previously revealed characters, including Peggy Carter as Captain Britain, T’Challa as Star-Lord, and a dark Doctor Strange. But the image also reveals the first look at Jeffrey Wright as Uatu the Watcher as well as a Thor, Black Widow, Killmonger, and Gamora.

It is unclear if this group of characters will actually form a Guardians of the Multiverse or if this is just a fun play on the Guardians of the Galaxy. The series has been promoted as several one-off stories focused on each of the films in the MCU. Still, it could be possible for there to be an overarching storyline uniting the characters depicted above.

The series will feature the stars of the MCU returning to voice their iconic characters. Some notable names include Haley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Josh Brolin as Thanos.
