‘Avengers 5’ Is Reportedly In Active Development At Marvel Studios

The Avengers may be preparing to assemble once again very soon. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Avengers 5 is in active development.
Following the release of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame, many expected it to be some time before a new Avengers’ film would be released. But now, it seems a new project is already in active development. Richtman revealed on his Patreon that the film is being worked on at the studio.

It has not been revealed what the film may focus on, given it will still be some time before the project is released. Additionally, it is difficult to say which heroes will appear in the film, given that many team members have retired or perished, and many new heroes are to be introduced in future projects.
Future MCU projects, including Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man: No Way Home, will explore the multiverse, so it could be possible this could play an important role in Avengers 5. Fans have long hoped for an adaptation of 2015’s Secret Wars comic event, which featured the merger of the Marvel multiverse.
Additionally, there is no creative team attached to the project as of now. The Russo Brothers have previously stated they would return to helm a Marvel film if a project piqued their interest, so perhaps this could be that project.
