Zack & Deborah Snyder Are Developing A New Western/Sci-Fi Film

This is truly the year of Zack Snyder. The director/producer is releasing two films this year. Both films will be on streaming services in the coming days and months. HBO Max will release the highly anticipated and controversial Zack Snyder’s Justice League in two weeks, and Netflix will release Army of the Dead on May 21. Where does Snyder go from here though?
While it is known that Army of the Dead will have its own universe on Netflix that is live-action and animated, Zack and Deborah Snyder are not stopping there. During an interview/Livestream with League of Mayhem, Deborah Snyder reveals that she and Zack are working on a new film. At the 1 hour and 20-minute mark, she begins to speak about it, she “can’t say much.”

From what she says about the new film it will be a Sci-Fi movie with a female protagonist. She also states that the film will be a “bit western.” Zack and Debbie are listed as producers for Cobalt 60 a graphic novel that involves mutants (no, not those mutants) and other fantastic creatures. They’ve been attached to this project since 2006 but seems as though it has finally caught traction. Debbie stated that the new movie is original, but could this be it? We will see in the months to come!
