‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ Set Photos Feature Melissa McCarthy As Hela

Not long after it was revealed, Matt Damon and Luke Hemsworth would reprise their roles as the Asgardian actors from Thor: Ragnarok; additional casting has also been revealed. The Daily Mail has now shared new images from the set of Thor: Love and Thunder revealing Melissa McCarthy as fake Hela.

It seems that the new film will feature a dramatization of the death of Odin, including Thor and Loki’s first encounter with Hela. And McCarthy, who has campaigned for a role in the project, will play “Hela” herself.

The fourth film in the Thor franchise sees the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. Additionally, Taika Waititi confirms the actress will also take on Thor’s mantle within the events of the film at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Chris Hemsworth will also return as the Son of Odin. Additionally, Ford v. Ferrari star Christian Bale will play Gorr the God Butcher in the film. Moreover, the film will feature the aforementioned Guardians of the Galaxy, Korg, and Jaimie Alexander’s Lady Sif.
