‘The Boys’ Season 3 Set Photo Reveals First Look At Soldier Boy

With filming on season 3 of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys, it was only a matter of time before set photos surfaced online. Now thanks to some eagle-eyed fans, the first look at Soldier Boy has been revealed.
It was first announced that Supernatural star Jensen Ackles had been tapped to play the character in August. According to those on set, the actor seen below is just a stand-in for Ackles, who is reportedly still in quarantine. Nevertheless, this is still the first look at the Soldier Boy’s costume in the upcoming season.

It appears the show has taken some liberties with the costume and made some slight changes. In the comics, the suit featured much shorter pant legs and included short sleeves as well. However, as can be seen above, this suit appears similar to a tracksuit with much longer arms and legs.
In the set photo, Soldier Boy can be seen arriving at the world premiere of Dawn of the Seven, the fictional movie the Seven were filming during season 2 of The Boys. Other stars were also on set for the scene, including Dominique McElligott’s Queen Maeve, Jessie Usher’s A-Train, Erin Moriarty’s Starlight, and Antony Starr’s Homelander.
