‘The Boys’ Casting Tek Knight & Blue Hawk For Season 3

Season 3 of The Boys is continuing to assemble its cast. According to insider Daniel Richtman, they are casting Tek Knight and a new character named Blue Hawk.
Created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, Tek Knight debuted in issue #7 of The Boys. Robert Vernon is yet another member of Payback, Soldier Boys’ former team. A parody of Iron Man Tek Knight does not derive his powers from Compound V; rather, he uses a high-tech suit. He has previously been mentioned during the show; however, he has yet to actually appear in live-action.

Richtman also revealed they are looking to cast a new character named Blue Hawk. He is reportedly a racist Supe and a friend of A-Train. While no character exists in the comics with this name, it is possible he could be a new version of Ground Hawk. A member of the G-Men, Ground Hawk, is a parody of Wolverine with a similar costume design, aggressive personality, and hammers for hands.
Previous reports have revealed that Season 3 of The Boys is set to focus on Soldier Boys’ past and Payback. With members including Eagle the Archer, Tek Knight, Swatto, Crimson Countess, and Stormfront, the team was “the Seven before the Seven,” according to showrunner Erik Kripke. There is no word on who will portray Tek Knight in the next season or who will join the cast as the other members of Payback.
