Created by Keith Giffen, John Rogers, and Cully Hammer, Jaime Reyes first appeared in 2006’s Infinite Crisis #3. After bonding with an alien scarab, Jaime finds he can create a suit of extraterrestrial armor that allows him to fight crime. The suit grants him flight, enhanced strength, energy shields, the ability to create weapons from nothing, and many other abilities.
The screenplay is being written by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer, who wrote Universal’s Scarface remake and Sony’s Miss Bala. The project is reportedly eyeing a fall production start date with Zev Foreman executive producing for Warner Bros.
