Sony Reportedly Developing A ‘Scorpion’ Spinoff Project

Another Marvel villain may soon get his own spinoff film in the Sony Universe of Marvel Characters. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Sony is developing a Scorpion project.
Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in 1964, Mac Gargan debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man #19. Originally a private investigator hired by J. Jonah Jameson to follow Peter Parker, Gargan was later the subject of an experimental procedure that granted him the powers of a scorpion. In addition to his powers he was also given an exo-suit that further enhanced his abilities.
