It appears that an iconic DC villain will finally make his debut in the upcoming season of Titans. According to Lance Ausfresser of the Titans Group, the series has cast an actor as the Joker.
Since it was revealed that Jason Todd would become Red Hood in Titans season, 3 many fans have speculated that his transformation would involve the Joker. In the comics, the Clown Prince of Crime killed Jason, which ultimately led to him becoming the anti-hero. Some reports claimed the series would not use the Joker, while others suggested he would merely be mentioned. But now, it seems like he will play a key role in the story.
In season 1 of Titans, the Joker appeared in the fake reality Dick Grayson witnessed where Batman began to take out his enemies one by one. At the time, the character didn’t play a pivotal role in the series, but it seems that will now change. It is unknown who has been cast as Joker, so for now, fans will be left to speculate who it is that will take on the iconic role.
Photos from the set of Titans previously revealed a trailer that featured the Joker’s name. At the time, it was uncertain if an individual was simply standing in for the character via a cameo, but this new report suggests it will be a larger role.
