RUMOR: ‘A-Force’ Project In Active Development At Marvel

While it has been discussed in the past, it seems Marvel Studios is finally moving along with its all-female team-up project. According to insider Daniel Richtman, an A-Force project is now in active development.
Created by G. Willow Wilson, Marguerite Bennett, and Jorge Molina, the group first appeared in 2015’s A-Force #1. The group is Marvel’s first all-female team of Avengers. Appearing as part of an alternate universe, they later joined the primary Marvel continuity. While the original team in the comics featured She-Hulk, Dazzler, Medusa, Nico Minoru, and Singularity, the comic often featured many other Marvel heroines.

The merits of an A-Force film were first teased in Avengers: Endgame when the MCU’s female heroes teamed up for a scene during the movie’s final battle sequence. Many stars have pushed for an all-female team up for some time now, and it seems like the studio has finally decided to move forward with it.
Richtman did not confirm how far along in development the project is, nor did he reveal which characters will appear in the film or television series. For now, fans will have to speculate when they will see their favorite heroines join forces in the MCU once again.
