During Disney’s Investor Day, it was revealed that Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins will direct a new project for Lucasfilm, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron.

Having a long history in Star Wars canon, Rogue Squadron consists of the greatest pilots the Rebellion has at their disposal to execute daring and dangerous missions.
Jenkins is best known for bringing Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman to the big screen in 2017. Up next, she will re-team with Gadot for a Cleopatra biopic in the works at MGM.
The film will be released in Christmas of 2023.
