‘Titans’: New Details On Blackfire’s Season 3 Costume Revealed
With filming for Titans season 3 drawing near, new details have come forward about some characters’ costumes. Lance Ausfresser of the Titans Facebook Group has revealed that Blackfire’s costume will be based on her original look in the comics.
In the pages of DC Comics, Blackfire AKA Komand’r is the eldest of the Tamaran (the sisters’ homeworld) Royal Family. She was the first princess born in over 100 years and the rightful heir to the throne. A childhood illness struck her with the inability to harness the same powers as her younger siblings, which spawned vindictiveness.
Ausfresser previously hinted at Blackfire and Starfire’s costumes in the upcoming season, revealing they would be amalgamations of all their previous looks. But it seems now that the former’s will take most inspiration from the original look in 1982’s New Teen Titans #22.
With filming scheduled to begin soon, it seems likely fans will catch a first look at the villain on set very soon. Blackfire has been reported as having a large role in the upcoming season of Titans, so it will be interesting to see what chaos she brings.
