‘Doom Patrol’ Expected To Film Next Two Seasons Back-To-Back

With Season 2 of Doom Patrol coming to a close, fans are curious about what DC Universe is planning for the series. Well, according to the Doom Patrol Facebook Group, the streaming service is looking to film the next two seasons back-to-back.
Currently, production on most films and shows have been put on hold as a result of COVID-19, so DC Universe may be looking to make up for this once filming is authorized. This delay in production has already impacted the series after Doom Patrol had to cut an entire episode from Season 2 as filming was halted before it could wrap.

This move to film both seasons back-to-back suggests that DC is pleased with how Doom Patrol has been received if they are working two seasons ahead. This does, however, raise the question of whether the same will be done for Titans, which remains the only other live-action DC Universe production. Stargirl has moved to The CW, so its production schedule will likely be drastically changed for the second season.
