Currently in its seventh and finale season, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. continues its weekly time-travel antics that leave its devoted fanbase satisfied. One of the reasons is a charming Chronicom named Enoch. The helpful sentient artificial alien is brought to life by the talented Joel Stoffer. During a recent conversation with ComicBook.com, the actor revealed that his deep-dive into science fiction will continue with a new role in the fourth season of Stranger Things. 

“I’ve got a role that we haven’t shot yet on Stranger Things,” Stoffer revealed. “I don’t expect it to become anything like longterm, but it’ll be coming up. They contact me and I’ll go to Georgia and shoot it when they get back up and running. They haven’t formed their schedule yet. I literally do not know anything,” he continued. “It was cast during quarantine a couple of months ago and I was sent the pages of my scene and that was it. I didn’t recognize any names in my scene. So, I don’t even know if I have additional scenes beyond that one scene. I expect that I do, but I really don’t know.”

Stranger Things is one of the most beloved shows on Netflix. The third season ended with David Harbour’s Officer Hopper seemingly succumbing during a wild rescue mission. Eleven went on to live with Mike’s family after Joyce gets them out of Hawkins for good. However, an end-credits scene and teaser trailer confirm Hopper lives and the future is exciting for fans of the series. Created by the Duffer Brothers, the series is a mix of investigative drama alongside supernatural elements portrayed with horror, science fiction, and childlike sensibilities. Additionally, the series touts 31 Primetime Emmy Award nominations (and six wins) and four Golden Globe Award nominations.

Moreover, Stoffer’s role in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. continues to expand as the seventh season moves along. Recently, the series featured crossovers with Agent Carter and continues to live within the established MCU with ties to Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
