Ian McShane & Lance Reddick In Talks To Appear In ‘Ballerina’

Keanu Reeves may not be the only star returning for the John Wick spinoff. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick are in talks to return for Ballerina.
McShane and Reddick have appeared in all three John Wick films as Winston and Charon, respectively. It is also assumed that the actors will appear in the planned fourth film in the franchise.

On May 4, it was revealed that Lionsgate was eyeing Chloë Grace Moretz to star. Her character would be Rooney Brown, who was orphaned at a young age and trained as a killer. She travels the globe eliminating terrorists, and other targets, but she strictly refuses to kill anyone that she doesn’t believe deserves death. After being targeted by a rival organization, Rooney retires but then seeks revenge when her entire family is slaughtered. She’s strong, ruthless, and seemingly cold in her approach to killing – but exhibits some humanity along the way.
It is difficult to say how large of a role McShane and Reddick will play in the film. It has been rumored that Reeves will only have a cameo, so it stands to reason that this will be the same for them.
Shay Hatten is currently writing the film with Basil Iwanyk, and Erica Lee set to produce. Swamp Thing director Len Wiseman will helm the feature.
