Henry Cavill In Talks To Return As Superman In Future DCEU Films

There has been some good news dropping for fans of DC films lately. And today, fans of Superman were treated to even more great news. Deadline is reporting that Henry Cavill is in talks to reprise his role as the Man of Steel.
Since the release of Justice League and the drama surrounding the film, something that has stood out is the on-again-off-again relationship between WB and Cavill. For quite some time it seemed as though Cavill would never don the cape again, with things going as far as his cameo in Shazam no longer happening with WB opting to not show Superman’s face.

Fortunately, with the news from Deadline, it seems as though Cavill will be coming back. The outlet, along with others, are reporting that although there are no Superman films in the works, WB aims to use the character as DC’s version of the MCU’s Hulk. Superman will not star in his own film just yet but will appear in other character’s movies and possible event films. He is seemingly set to return to do ADR work for Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
