Amazon Picks Up Chris Pratt TV Series ‘The Terminal List’

Before he was known as the outlaw Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Pratt endeared himself to millions on NBC’s Parks & Recreation. As first reported by THR, Pratt’s long-awaited return to TV will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime.
Following a bidding war with multiple outlets, Amazon snagged the Pratt-starring vehicle The Terminal List. Moreover, the series received a straight-to-series order with production following the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The series will reportedly focus on Pratt’s James Reece. After his platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a covert mission, Reece returns home to with more questions than answers. However, following the untangling of truth and lies, Reece learns that the situation is much bigger, and darker than previously thought.

David DiGilio (Eight Below) will pen the script alongside a writer’s room filled with actual war veterans. Antoine Fuqua, who worked with Pratt on The Magnificent Seven, will executive produce and direct the series.
Up next for Pratt is the currently-stalled Jurassic World: Dominion. The actor last appeared in Disney/Pixar’s Onward alongside fellow Marvel hero Tom Holland. Pratt took to social media to called his role in The Terminal List “the most intense and violent character I’ve ever played”.
