Disney is reportedly planning yet another live-action adaptation of one of their classic films. According to insider Daniel Richtman, the studio is developing a live-action Tarzan film.
Wednesday, it was announced that Disney is developing a live-action adaptation of Hercules, and it looks like they won’t stop there. Disney has developed a number of these updated films, including The Jungle Book, The Lion King, Mulan, and Aladdin.
Details on the film are currently unknown as the project is in very early development at the studio other than it’s expected to be a remake of the animated flick.
Previously, Warner Bros. released their own live-action film titled The Legend of Tarzan in 2016, starring Alexander Skarsgård as Tarzan, as well as Samuel L. Jackson and Margot Robbie. The film was based on Edgar Rice Burroughs’ 1912 novel of the same name.
