‘The Boys’ Reportedly Renewed For Season 3 At Amazon

Fans of Amazon’s The Boys are in luck as it seems the series has been renewed for a third season. According to The Cinema Spot, the streamer has handed out an early-season renewal for the series.
The decision isn’t much of a shocker given the second season of the show was announced before season 1 premiered. The first season was very well received by audiences and critics alike. In addition to this news, The Cinema Spot has also revealed that Paul Grellong has been added to the writers’ room for season 3. The writer previously worked as a writer, director, and producer on CBS’s Hawaii Five-0 and Scorpion.
While the exact arc of season 2 is still under wraps, showrunner Eric Kripke has revealed his plans for season 3. Prior to its announcement, Kripke stated he would like to adapt the Herogasm storyline from the comics if the show went past two seasons. Additionally, Kripke stated he would like to have actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan play a role in the new season if his schedule allows it. In response, Morgan affirmed that he would love to come aboard the project.
