Untitled Spider-Man Spinoff In Development From Roberto Orci

Sony’s Spider-Man franchise is about to cast an even bigger web. Roberto Orci is developing an untitled spinoff movie for the studio, according to The Wrap.
Orci has been hired to write and develop a new spinoff movie for the ever-growing SUMC. No other details have been revealed regarding which character the film will focus on. Sony owns the rights to Spider-Man and his cast of characters which include Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Kraven, Nightwatch and Morbius the Living Vampire.
The scribe is no stranger to blockbuster filmmaking, with his writing credits including Mission: Impossible 3, Transformers, Star Trek and Cowboys & Aliens. However, his most notable project is probably Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, a movie that forced Sony to broker a deal with Marvel Studios to share the character.
