Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ Adds ‘Teen Wolf’ Stars Charlie & Max Carver

Following the big reveal of Robert Pattinson’s take on the Batsuit, DC fans are eager to learn as much as they can on the upcoming film. As first reported by AV News, twins Charlie and Max Carver will join the film’s ensemble cast.
Following memorable roles in MTV’s Teen Wolf and HBO’s The Leftovers, the Carver brothers have built a rather impressive résumé for themselves. While their roles in The Batman are under wraps, insider Daniel Richtman speculated on Twitter that the twins were cast as Tweedledum and Tweedledee. First appearing in Detective Comics #74 in 1943, Dumfree and Deever Tweed are henchmen of the villainous Mad Hatter. This casting would make sense given The Mad Hatter has been rumored to appear in the upcoming film since June 2019.

The last few weeks have been good for Batman fans. Recent set photos showcased The Penguin and, potentially, the Batcycle. The upcoming DC film will have Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne face off against members of the Dark Knight’s rogues gallery. The film will feature Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.
Last year, Pattinson spoke with Variety in a tell-all interview about the film’s direction. “I really like Matt Reeves and his setup for it. It’s an interesting direction,” the titular star explained. “This is something from the comics that haven’t been explored yet. It’s crazy shoes to fill. It’s interesting the different directions you can take with it and that the, in some ways, quite a specific character actually has a lot of leeway. When you look at the different tones of the movies and TV shows, you can do a lot with it.”
