Kraven Solo Film Character Breakdown References Spider-Man

There has been no word on Sony’s planned Kraven the Hunter solo film for some time now. However, a character breakdown recently surfaced that seems to connect the titular character to Spider-Man.
The Illuminerdi has revealed details from the potential film via a casting grid. It seems that the theatrical version of the character would appear very similar to that of the comics. According to the breakdown, Kraven is specifically referred to as a “maniacal big game hunter”. While the rest of the description left out a lot of details, one casting desire is for a Bourne-esque figure in their late thirties or forties.
What is very interesting is that this spin-off film may have been more directly related to Spider-Man than say Venom or Morbius. While the latter films either did not refer to the Web-Slinger or indirectly referenced him, Kraven was described as “hunting Spider-Man” in the grid.

What this would mean for the MCU is unclear as it was not revealed if this would be Tom Holland’s Spider-Man or an alternate version of the hero. If it is anything like the Morbius arrangement, it could mean the events of the MCU would affect Kraven while he would not influence the MUC.
In recent time, there has been no word on the status of Sony’s Kraven the Hunter spin-off. However, if this breakdown is any indication, it seems that the studio is very interested in uniting their films with the MCU.
