‘Doctor Strange 2’ May Feature Alternate Versions Of Known MCU Characters

With the bevy of characters reportedly joining Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it almost seems that the film couldn’t get any crazier. However, a new report suggests otherwise as MCU Cosmic reports the film will feature alternate versions of established MCU characters.
The multiverse has long been an important aspect of Marvel Comics lore. It gave way to the widely popular Ultimates universe, which sported alternate versions of well-known characters, including Iron Man and Captain America. Now, this new rumor suggests something similar could be established in the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
When it was revealed that the film would explore the multiverse, some fans wondered if they would see alternate characters pop up. It’s important to note that this doesn’t mean actors like Robert Downey Jr. or Chris Evans will reprise their roles since new actors could play them, given this is an all-new reality.

It was recently suggested that the use of the multiverse will facilitate the introduction of America Chavez. In the comics, Chavez hails from an alternate universe. In addition to the heroine and these alternate heroes, the film may also feature some fan-favorite magic users. Recent reports have suggested that both Brother Voodoo and Clea will be introduced in the Doctor Strange sequel.
