‘Titans’ Season 3 Audition Tape Teases Roy Harper

It has been rumored that the upcoming season of DC Universe’s Titans would feature the fan-favorite character, Roy Harper. Now, an audition tape for the show has surfaced teasing the character’s role in the series.

The tape features an unknown actor speaking to a second individual that is believed to be Roy. In the video, the actor is trying to help the unseen individual who seems to be suffering from addiction. In the comics, Roy has been portrayed in various stages of drug addiction, and that appears to be the route Titans will take with the character. The audition tape can be seen linked below:

First appearing in More Fun Comics #73, Roy Harper was the sidekick of Oliver Queen, aka Green Arrow. In the ’90s, Roy went out on his own under the name Arsenal, joining and eventually leading the Titans. In recent years, the character has spent much of his crime-fighting days working alongside superhero teams, including the Justice League and Outsiders.

It’s unclear which role the actor in this clip is auditioning for, but he is most likely a friend of Roy’s based on what is discussed in the clip. He is seemingly trying to get Roy the help he needs to battle his addiction and get clean. How this will ultimately bring the character to the Titans is not yet known, but hopefully, fans will learn more soon.
