DC Universe’s ‘Titans’ Season 3 Is Reportedly Casting Lex Luthor

Blackfire may not be the only villain the Titans will face in Season 3. According to a new report, DC Universe is in the process of casting Lex Luthor for the their flagship series.
Recently, insider Daniel Richtman revealed that Titans is casting three classic DC characters for its upcoming season: Roy Harper, Oracle and Lex Luthor. The Superman villain has been teased numerous times on the show and was name-dropped throughout Season 2. Luthor’s company, Cadmus, was instrumental in the plot of last season as it helped to create Superboy and Krypto.
Given the antagonist is technically the father of Superboy, it will be exciting to see how this is explored next season. However, since Blackfire is set to be the main antagonist, she will be likely get the main focus. The series has been criticized in the past for incorporating too many subplots, so hopefully, the new season does not fall prey to this issue.
