Following a surprise cameo in last year’s Hobbs & Shaw, Kevin Hart will once again team-up with Jason Statham on the big screen. As first reported by Variety, the two Hollywood heavyweights will star in the upcoming action-comedy from Sony Pictures The Man From Toronto.
With a script written by Robbie Fox (Playing For Keeps), details of the film are being kept close to the chest within Sony. However, it will be helmed by The Hitman’s Bodyguard director Patrick Hughes. Additionally, Bill Bannerman (Goosebumps) will serve as an executive producer.
Statham was last seen on the big screen in the aforementioned Hobbs & Shaw and 2018’s The Meg. He will next appear in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming film Cash Truck. Moreover, Kevin Hart recently released a docuseries on Netflix titled Don’t F**k This Up. Additionally, the actor starred in 2019’s Jumanji: The Next Level and The Secret Life of Pets 2.
