Miki Ishikawa Potentially Playing Jolt In ‘Falcon And The Winter Soldier’

After reports that Marvel is planning on setting up the Thunderbolts in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier surfaced, many fans began speculating who could join the team. Thankfully, a new theory suggests that actress Miki Ishikawa could potentially portray the hero Jolt.
Charles Murphy recently uncovered some hints that point to Ishikawa’s role in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. As of now, her role and actor Desmond Chiam’s have yet to be revealed. Additionally, while Chiam has been spotted on set numerous times, Ishikawa has not. However, she has been posting some of her recent workout routine that suggests she is getting into superhero shape for the series.
Some more evidence that backs up this theory is a recent post Ishikawa made to her Instagram. The actress posted a series of images featuring her recent tattoo’s one of which stands out. In the third image, the star has a lightning bolt tattoo, which could potentially be a reference to both the Thunderbolts and the character Jolt. But what really makes this interesting is that Ishikawa liked a now-deleted comment which read, “Can’t wait to see you as Jolt in the MCU!”
Created by Kurt Busiek and Mark Bagley, Jolt was first introduced in 1997’s Thunderbolts #1. After experimentation at the hands of Arnim Zola, Hallie Takahama was given superhuman speed and weaponized electric blasts. Takahama went on to join the Thunderbolts and convinced many of its villainous members to turn over a new leaf and become full-fledged heroes.
