The CW Renews Ongoing Arrowverse Series, Riverdale & More

The CW will continue its television dominance into 2021. As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the network has renewed the bulk of its programming for new seasons, including the entire Arrowverse slate.
In addition to greenlighting another outing for The Flash, Batwoman, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Black Lightning, The CW has also renewed Riverdale, Nancy Drew, Dynasty, All American, Charmed, In the Dark and Roswell, New Mexico.
“These early orders for next season give our production teams a head start in plotting out story arcs and a jump on hiring staff, and this also provides us with a strong foundation of established, fan-favorite CW shows to build on for next season,” CW President Mark Pedowitz explained. “We’ve been thrilled with the creative direction of all three new series, and even though we are in the very early stages of our new full stack streaming strategy, which allows viewers to catch up on our new shows from the beginning, we’re already seeing incredibly positive results from our multi-platform viewership for Nancy Drew and Batwoman.”

As The CW bids farewell to Arrow, The 100 and Supernatural this year, another batch of shows is in the works at the network that includes Walker, Texas Ranger, Kung Fu, Green Arrow and the Canaries and Superman & Lois. So, fear not, when one show ends, there’s two more to take its place.
