‘He-Man & The Masters Of The Universe’ CG Animated Series In Development At Netflix

He-Man & The Masters of the Universe is a franchise that has gone through a bevy of different iterations. Recently, it seems Hollywood is trying to figure out how to best adapt the popular fantasy characters. From a live-action film with Noah Centineo to an animated Netflix series from Kevin Smith to a new toy line coming next fall, fans of the franchise have a lot to look forward to.
However, as first reported by Deadline, a second series is on its way to Netflix. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, an original CG animated adventure, is in development at the streaming service. Additionally, the series will reportedly be a reimagining of the franchise, providing a modern spin on the heroes.

“On the planet of Eternia, a young lost prince discovers the powers of Grayskull and transforms into He-Man, Master of the Universe! The classic battle between He-Man and evil Skeletor rages to new heights as both hero and villain forge new and mighty teams. A new generation of heroes fighting for the fate of us all. In the end, who will become Master of the Universe?”
Moreover, the series touts a talented group of producers. Adam Bonnett (La La Land), Christopher Keenan (Teen Titans), and Rob David (Max Steel: Team Turbo) will serve as executive producers of the series from Mattel Television.
An official poster for the series has also been revealed.
