RUMOR: Doctor Strange To Appear In Disney+’s ‘WandaVision’

The Disney+ series WandaVision is stacking up to be one of Marvel’s most intriguing new projects. Recently, reports claim the show has gotten even more enticing as it may feature everyone’s favorite Sorcerer Supreme. According to Charles Murphy, Benedict Cumberbatch could make appearance on the show as Doctor Strange.

WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness connection to one another has been teased by Kevin Feige since they were both announced at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year. The Disney+ series is set to lead directly into the sequel, with Elizabeth Olsen appearing in both projects. However, if Murphy’s report is accurate, she may not be the only character appearing in both MCU entries.

The scooper claims that Benedict Cumberbatch will be on set for the last week of filming for WandaVision. This information makes a lot of sense given the connection between the series and upcoming film.

The series is set to explore Wanda’s powers to a level we have not seen in the MCU to the point that she will finally be known as the Scarlet Witch. Knowing this, one can surmise that she will begin to delve into the world of the mystic arts and who better to help her learn to master her abilities than Doctor Strange.

It should be noted that as of now, this is nothing more than a rumor. Murphy has been very credible in the past, but he has stressed that this tidbit is nothing but a rumor. So take this all with a grain of salt until Marvel or one of the film’s stars comment on the news themselves.
