The upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision will be one of the Marvel Studios’ most ambitious projects. From being filmed in front of a live studio audience to connecting to Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, fans are certainly in for a treat. As first reported by Murphy’s Multiverse, Nashville star Josh Stamberg is joining the ensemble cast in a minor role.
Additionally, Stamberg can be seen in The Affair and The Loudest Voice on Showtime. He will play an FBI agent alongside Randall Park’s Jimmy Woo, who previously appeared in 2018’s Ant-Man & The Wasp.
Not much information regarding WandaVision has been revealed. However, it will serve as a bridge between Disney+ and the greater MCU on the big screen. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will reprise their roles of Wanda Maximoff and The Vision, respectively. Many fans have theorized that Wanda will realize her maximum reality-bending powers in a callback to the iconic House of M comic run. Additions such as an adult Monica Rambeau and the rumored Nightmare has the makings of a Marvel series like never before.
What do you think of the addition of Stamberg? Are you excited for WandaVision on Disney+? Let us know in the comments below!
WandaVision will premiere on Disney+ in spring 2021.
The series stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Paul Bettany as Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis with Kathryn Hahn in an undisclosed role.
