‘Venom 2’ Adds ‘The Irishman’ Star Stephen Graham In Mystery Role

Andy Serkis continues to round out the cast of his upcoming Marvel flick. According to Deadline, The Irishman star Stephen Graham has joined the cast of Sony’s Venom 2 in an undisclosed role.
Graham is perhaps best known for his role as Andrew “Combo” Gascoigne in the British drama This Is England. His other credits include Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides, Rocketman and the Gary Oldman-led Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Earlier this year, Graham appeared alongside Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in Netflix’s The Irishman.
With Serkis at the helm and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood cinematographer Robert Richardson attached, Sony is betting big on the sequel its 2018 smash hit. Principal photography on Venom 2 kicked off last month at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, England.
