‘Expanding The Universe’ Reveals U.S. Agent, Falcon & Bucky’s New Looks

Disney+ is set to launch in just a few hours, and it looks like a few reveals have already surfaced. After some individuals were able to access the streaming service early, they came across Expanding the Universe, an exclusive documentary featuring concept art for a number of the upcoming series. Amongst this art is our first look at Falcon, Winter Soldier, and U.S. Agent’s new costumes in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Sam and Bucky’s new suits look vastly different than they did on the poster released at D23 this Summer. Bucky’s look as the Winter Soldier has a brighter look to it and has more of a red, white and blue aesthetic. Meanwhile, Falcon has undergone the most significant change ditching the utilitarian look he’s known for and adopting a much bolder look.

Meanwhile, the first look at John Walker looks like a redesigned Captain America model. Ditching the typical stars and stripes design, Walker looks just like the character does in the comics. Additionally, what makes this art all that much more interesting is that the character can be seen holding Cap’s shield, which, of course, was given to Sam in Avengers: Endgame.
How do you think these designs for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier look? Which of the costumes is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below!
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier hits Disney+ in the spring of 2020.
Hailing from showrunner Malcolm Spellman, the series stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Emily Van Camp as Sharon Carter, and Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo.
