‘Sonic The Hedgehog’ Images Leak Online Featuring More Accurate Redesign

The fastest hedgehog alive has a new look. Stills from the upcoming live-action Sonic The Hedgehog film have leaked featuring a redesigned Sonic, and it should please the most hardcore fans.
It seems that Paramount Pictures took the reactions to the first teaser trailer to heart. Thanks to a Twitter user, two promotional images have hit the web, revealing an entirely new look for our blue, furry friend. Instead of having a mostly humanoid figure, Ben Schwartz’s Sonic is shorter and sports the classic white gloves and big eyes. His glorious hair is making its big-screen debut as well, don’t you worry.

Back in May, the film’s director Jeff Fowler took to Twitter to announce that they would take a step back with the movie in order to redo Sonic’s look. He said the following; “Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear… you aren’t happy with the design & you want changes. It’s going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be… #sonicmovie #gottafixfast“
