Marvel’s ‘New Warriors’ TV Series No Longer In Development

Marvel is currently hard at work developing a bevy of new shows for the upcoming Disney+ streaming service. However, one highly-anticipated show has been axed. As first reported by Geeks Worldwide, Marvel Television’s New Warriors series is no longer in development.
Originally planned as a sitcom and ordered by Freeform, New Warriors was set to begin production this year. However, the network decided to move onto different endeavors. Marvel Television then pitched the series to both Disney+ and Hulu, but to no avail.
This is a bit of surprising news as fans were eager to see the live-action adaptations of new characters like Squirrel Girl & Cannonball. Marvel executives were also happy about the pilot, according to the initial report.
