‘Moon Knight’ Series Announced For Disney+

During this weekend’s D23 Expo in California, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced a bevy of new Marvel shows coming to Disney+. One of the more exciting additions to the stacked lineup is a series starring Moon Knight.
Debuting in 1975, Moon Knight is a Jewish-American son of a rabbi. Born Marc Spector in Chicago, Illinois, he spends his life as a heavyweight boxer and United States Marine.
On a mission in Egypt, Spector picks a fight with the wrong people and left for dead. He is discovered and taken to the statue of the god Khonshu. Spector becomes the god’s avatar and gains increased strength, endurance, and agility. His powers, however, are dependent on the cycle of the moon.
