Wyatt Russell Cast As U.S. Agent In ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’

The U.S. Agent is coming to the MCU. Overlord star Wyatt Russell has joined the cast of Disney+’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier as John Walker. The announcement was made during the show’s panel at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California.
Russell is best known for his role as Zook Haythe alongside Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill in 22 Jump Street. His other credits include Netflix’s Black Mirror, This Is 40, and Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens. Next year, Rusell will star alongside Amy Adams and Gary Oldman in The Woman in the Window.

First appearing in Captain America #323 in 1986, Walker made his debut as the antihero Super-Patriot. He would go on to pick up the mantle of Captain America after Steve Rogers leaves the shield behind. Following a quick stint as Cap, Walker resurfaced as the U.S. Agent, an asset for the Commission on Superhuman Activities.
