Michael Rosenbaum Has Been Approached To Appear In CW’s ‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’

It appears another Smallville star could be making an appearance in The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths event. According to DC insider Lance Ausfresser in THE DC UNIVERSE CROSSOVER EVENTS GROUP, Michael Rosenbaum has been approached to appear the upcoming crossover.
Rosenbaum starred in the CW series Smallville from 2001-2011. The actor portrayed the iconic Superman villain Lex Luthor opposite Tom Welling’s Clark Kent. The series tackled the early years of The Man of Steel before he became the hero we know and love. Set in Smallville, Kansas, the show has become a cult classic.
Luthor first appeared in Action Comics #23 in 1940. Created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the supervillain has become one of the most enduring antagonists in the history of comics.

We previously reported that Welling would appear in the crossover back in April of this year. Now, given that Rosenbaum has also been approached to star, it means that The CW is pulling out all the stops. The stars will be joining not only the many heroes of the Arrowverse but also Brandon Routh as Kingdom Come Superman, Kevin Conroy as Batman, and Burt Ward in an undisclosed role.
