It looks like yet another superhero will be joining the Crisis on Infinite Earths. During a recent interview with the cast of Black Lightning, they teased a possible appearance in the upcoming crossover.
Since its premiere, Black Lightning has stayed separate from the greater CW Arrowverse. Set in an alternate universe, it makes sense that we haven’t seen the hero pop up on Arrow or The Flash. However, given the fact, the Crisis on Infinite Earths will see our heroes unite across the multiverse its the perfect place for the Pierce family to appear.
When asked about possibly showing up in the crossover by Extra, series star Cress Williams revealed he had heard some talks. In the video linked below, if you watch from the 10-minute mark, the cast explains the rumors they have heard about the massive event.
While nothing seems to be official, there is a possibility for Black Lightning to join the Arrowverse especially given Williams and China Anne McClain both mentioned something. Granted, the logistics surrounding such an event are daunting. While the shows in the Arrowverse film in Vancouver the former films in Atlanta. Transporting the electrifying cast from Atlanta to Vancouver may be a bit too much to handle in conjunction with the already stacked workload.
