After months of rumors and guessing games, 2019’s annual San Diego Comic-Con has officially made it clear just who will be appearing in Marvel’s next team-up film.
Marvel Studios’ twitter account made it official this evening following the appearance of the full cast on stage at Hall H, joining Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.
Directed by Chloe Zhao, the cast is an embarrassment of riches for the Marvel Studios crew. The Eternals have been a long-standing group within the Marvel universe for years. They were created by The Celestials centuries ago to protect the human race.
Here is the cast listing and who each actor will play:
- Richard Madden as Ikaris
- Angelina Jolie as Thena
- Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo
- Lauren Ridloff as Makkari
- Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos
- Salma Hayek as Ajak
- Lia McHugh as Sprite
- And lastly Don Lee as Gilgamesh, the Forgotten One
