A few months ago, it was reported that Carlos Valdes, better known as Cisco from the CW’s The Flash, was leaving the show after its fifth season. Well, during a sit-down with EW, Valdes confirmed his character’s return in the upcoming sixth season.
Since the first season of The Flash, Cisco has grown exponentially as a character. From the motormouthed science geek to bonafide superhero, he has continued to remain a vital member of Team Flash.
Back in March, We Got This Covered reported the actor’s intentions to leave the series. With an extensive background in Broadway, it would not have been a surprise to see him return to the stage.
However, the star himself has confirmed that his character will be a part of the sixth year of the show.
San Diego Comic Con has been an avenue for the men and women involved in superhero properties to announce bombshells. This year has been no exception. With news regarding Brandon Routh suiting up as Superman once again to Burt Ward having a role in this year’s ambitious Arrowverse crossover, the DC shows on the CW are looking to change the game this season.
What do you think? Are you happy to have Cisco back for a sixth season? Let us know in the comments below!
