Brandon Routh’s Superman To Appear In ‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’

The Man of Tomorrow (circa 2006) will be making a comeback this fall. Brandon Routh will be donning the red and blue suit once again, according to Deadline.

Routh won’t be the only one returning to the screen as Superman, however. Tyler Hoechlin, who’s already Superman in the ‘Arrowverse,’ has been confirmed to return for the massive crossover as well. It’s still unknown to what capacity the two actors will appear but this should be epic none the less.

Routh, who currently plays The Atom on The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow, portrayed Superman himself in the film Superman Returns. Though a critical success, the film failed to light up the box office which led to the inevitable reboot with 2013’s Man of Steel.

With two Supermen confirmed, could we see others? Tom Welling has been hinting at a return and Dean Cain has been a part of Supergirl since the beginning. Only time will tell.

What do you think of this news? Are you ready to see multiple Supermen on the screen together? Tells us your thoughts in the comments!
