Corey Johnson Has Joined The Cast Of Sony’s ‘Morbius’

It seems a new face has joined the cast of Jared Leto’s Morbius. According to HN Entertainment, Corey Johnson has boarded Sony Pictures’ Morbius.
Corey Johnson has previously starred in Hellboy, X-Men: First Class, and many other comic book films so he is entirely at home in Sony’s Marvel universe. He joins Jared Leto who plays the titular anti-hero Morbius The Living Vampire.
Morbius will focus on Dr. Michael Morbius, who tries to cure a rare blood disease but inadvertently turns himself into a living vampire. Leto stars as Morbius and will face off against Matt Smith who will reportedly play Loxias Crown.
Alongside Leto and Smith, the cast also includes Adria Arjona, Tyrese Gibson, and several other talented actors. Daniel Espinosa is directing the picture which was written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.
Morbius is the second film in Sony’s universe of Marvel characters alongside Venom and the planned Kraven, Silk, Black Cat, and Silver Sable films.
As of now, nothing is known of Johnson’s role in the film, but hopefully more is revealed as we draw closer to the film’s release.
