Theo Rossi, Ella Purnell Join Zack Snyder’s ‘Army Of The Dead’

Zack Snyder has rounded out the cast for his upcoming Netflix project. According to The Wrap, Ella Purnell has joined Army of the Dead as Dave Bautista’s daughter Kate. Additionally, Theo Rossi, Ana De La Reguera, and Huma Qureshi have signed onto the film.
Purnell’s best known for her roles in Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children, Kick-Ass 2, and Sweetbitter, in which she plays the lead role of Tess in the adaptation of Stephanie Danler’s hit novel of the same name. Rossi’s claims to fame are a role on FX’s Sons of Anarchy and a two-season stint on Netflix’s Luke Cage as Hernan “Shades” Alvarez.

Snyder and Shay Hatten wrote the script for the project, with Snyder and his wife Deborah Snyder tapped to produce. Principal photography for Army of the Dead is set to begin in July.
