The next Christopher Nolan film is finally unveiled. Titled Tenet, the studio has announced the full cast and crew of the self-described “action epic.”
The Warner Bros. film has begun production and will continue to do so in seven different countries, the studio confirmed. The story is being described as an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage, with Christopher Nolan utilizing a mixture of IMAX and 70mm film to bring the story to the big screen. I’m sure if you are a Nolanite you already have chills by now, but there’s even more.
The cast is led by John David Washington and also stars Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh, Dimmple Kapadia, Clémence Poésy and Michael Caine joining the film. Serving as director of photography will be Hoyt Van Hoytema (Dunkirk), while in the editing room will be Jennifer Lame (Hereditary). The Oscar-winning composer for Black Panther, Ludwig Göransson, is set to compose the film while frequent Nolan collaborator Hans Zimmer composes Dune for Denis Villeneuve.
The new plot details, while slim, tease the mega-scale Christopher Nolan will be reaching once again. The cast and crew promise another film event is on the horizon, shot on IMAX and 70mm like God intended.
